Open DocScan and tap the scan button at the bottom of the screen. Point your camera at the document and the app will automatically detect the edges. You can also import existing photos from your gallery by tapping the import option. After capturing, you can crop, apply filters, and enhance the image before saving.

No. All your documents are stored locally on your device. DocScan does not upload, transmit, or store your scanned documents on any external server. Your data stays private and under your control at all times.

DocScan uses on-device optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract text from scanned documents and images. Simply scan or import a document, then use the Extract Text tool. The recognized text can be copied to your clipboard or shared with other apps. All text recognition is performed locally on your device.

Yes. DocScan includes a Sign and Stamp feature that lets you draw or create digital signatures and apply them to any document. You can also add date stamps and customize the color and weight of your signature. Signatures can be positioned, resized, and moved freely on the document.

DocScan offers a comprehensive set of PDF tools including: merge multiple PDFs into one, split a PDF into separate files, compress PDFs to reduce file size, reorder pages, add watermarks, and rotate pages. You can access all PDF tools from the Tools tab in the app.

DocScan supports over 20 languages. To change the language, go to Settings (tap the gear icon), then select Language. You can choose from languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, and Polish. You can also set it to "System" to automatically match your device language.
